eBay Spiewak in Sz 46

From the pics is quite hard to tell... only a small part of the interior of the jacket is shown
the thread of the stitches on the liner in the neck area looks brand new, and the liner itself looks new as well in an area which usually is quite worn and torn - the manufacturer tag's stitches looks a little messy, so I think that the liner should be a replacement.
About the leather shell and about the patches I'd like to hear the opinion of some forum member more experienced than me (...more or less everybody here actually is)

Yes, goat skin.

As far as the artwork, I agree it is hard to really tell from the photos. It does look pretty good, and has a lot of signs that indicate it is right....but those are only signs. Also, one would typically expect the patches to both be layered leather, but they don't have to be.

I personally would like to see this one in person before I plunked down any money. It would also be helpful to try and do some research on the possible nose art and the guy who owned it.

This jacket was indeed one of mine. I had it relined, re-knitted and got the zip replaced. The artwork is original as are the CBI patches. The goatskin is generally ok, but there are areas where rot is starting. It is probably overpriced and fits like a large wartime 46.
