ebay Good Wear Dubow...

That's a looker for sure, I'd be tempted if it weren't for the small chest size and ginormous shoulders. :)

I am thinking the same. A picture tells a thousand words, and belies one measurement...

This could be the closest GW to my chest size in a while. I think I may have to put my
money where my mouth is and have a crack. Statistically someone here must have
owned it at some stage? Will list a bargain BR or two and see if I can generate some
fundage over the weekend.

42-ish pitpitwise (well, in my book).

Sleeve 24.5 to cuff (not including cuff ??) would make 26.5-26.75 including cuff.
Shoulders doesn't make sense, typo; maybe should read 18.5?
These two measurements would mean a square sitting jacket for someone at an average non-athletic 44 with slightly longer arms, but 22.5 for pit-pit alone would severely restrict my movement (I'm a 43-44ish). Narrow chested original buyer?
If pit-pit were 23.5 or 24 I'd be on it, asking for a measurement check, thank god it isn't.

Hmmm...

I've never owned/worn a Dubow, but I did discuss it with John years ago before placing a Doniger order. Isn't the pattern a narrow chest/wider more open armhole arrangement that compensates for the apparently narrow torso?

IMHO it looks like a vintage 44 with short/average sleeves and probably a 18.5 shoulder. From the images, the sleeves don't extend far enough for a 26.5, but they don't look out of place for a 24.5 including cuff.

Worth asking - in fact just asked the buyer myself.

They have a wider than average front panel and a narrow back panel plus the wider armholes. The GW I received last week is 25" fp and 23" on the rear.

As Rutger mentioned this one sounds more like the measurements you'd expect from a 42".

Thanks for the info Steve - how do the sleeves look to you (proportionately)?
Your goat/purple knit combination looks better IMO, but the well wrinkled HH still looks good (reminds me of your HWT Perry that I desperately tried to squeeze into).
