This looks nearly indentical to my ELC G1, complete with the very tight mouton so I would suspect the jacket is probably 5 years plus old.

After comparing the current batch of ELC G1s at Duxford this summer with my own, which is approx. 5 plus years old........these older versions seem to have much better quality goatskin and better constructed.

The only down side to the older G1s is the colour/tightness of the mouton hair which seemed to be superior on the current ELC G1.

For the price, it's a bargain....I only hope that my BK G&F M422a (when it finally arrives) is of the same quality to which I will be extremely happy.

I bought this jacket and swapped it with the seller for a brand new size 38 55j14.

Thought the one I swapped it for was great, thick soft goat skin like the Prizker 55j14 I owned, the mouton was much better, tight and soft. A very nice jacket, but 3-4 sizes too big for me. But then again I did get it for less than half he sold it on for. £130. Now everyone's happy
