Eastman Pearl Harbor A-2 Size 40, Painted

Watching it from when it started.
Not entirely sure about the painting on the back though. I may be swearing, but is there a way to remove that without any permanent damage?

Yes...for whatever reason these early ELC jackets ran really huge! I got some later ones, a Cable and a couple of Werbers and they were a little more true to the size tags. Both this one and a Star that I have ran too baggy on me.

I'm not sure how to remove paint without damaging the leather. I've never attempted such an operation before, and this stuff seems to be fairly permanent in the sense that it will probably fall off with wear and time, but I wouldn't want to use solvents or sandpaper, or any other scraping operation. Hope that helps!

Boy, Couchy would look good in that one! :D

Why, thank you kindly!

It is a flash jacket with some VERY nice art, but the secret is out. Will see if I get outbid on the Werber before it ends.
