Honestly, the hide on that looks like cardboard. And the cut isn't too appealing either. Just me. I've seen much nicer looking D-1's.

Absolutely. But many sellers worry about customs delays when selling overseas. Inpatient buyers often just ask for a refund after a only day or so.
I have had buyers in the US do this to me even though I have no control over a 5 day hold in customs.

D1 if not one of the best jackets eastman made, i think sold on ebay reasonable price as a brought mine on seconds l so glad i kept it such unique style awesome jacket

my own preference I have to say is for something a little (a lot) less Matte. I think they are through their matte phase and out the other end hopefully but I see nicer sheepskins than that on the high street.
Jackets THAT matte only look good when they are about bombed out.

i think the whole elc hide and colour needs a rethink ,,i have a rw 1401 new style ,dark brown jacket not russet ? dont know how to describe the shade really , the older style and colour 1401 was better . :roll:
