The seller emailed me in a panic with the GBP72 Airmail shipping. She was stressing. Advised her she is
now 'hot property' for her selection of gift. Might see if she will email a pic or two for the forum if I push
the price over GBP300!!

Stand down the Divorce Lawyers! The 'git' is still on the scene. 'Tracey' said she had an eBayer hit her up 18 times in one day
for her to sell off eBay!! Very keen, if not rude!! And just in from the seller, a quote from the helpful buyer trying to jag a bargain
..."there are no handwarmer pockets which is a detraction, and reduces the value of the jacket". "And the zipper is not a Crown".
Anyway, a few hours to go.

Is it just me or has ebay gone to the dogs in the past year or so ?
There seem to be fewer good items for sale, could the high fees mean folk are selling elsewhere ?

John, I know what you mean. I have done extremely well from Ebay over the last couple of years buying original A2s and Irvins, but wearable A2s in my size are becoming much harder to find on Ebay these days. There are usually original Irvins for sale, but the price has dropped a little with the recession.

GBP180 was!!

With the current finish B-3 at GBP500 I think the older stuff would be a bargain at anything under 400.
Like the recent demand for 'old' ELC Irvins into the $800 region, they are not making the B-3 to the same standard today.
And you have to consider the GBP is nowhere near what it used to be, so $500 Australian for an ELC B-3 is pretty good!!

With 500 quid retail it would be foolish to think otherwise. I would pay a bit more for the repro Talon
over the Crown on a B-3 just in case. Would hate to break one. I am cautious with the Crown on my
House Russet..

I have to confess I had a go-but I had to go out, so it was a case of bunging in my maximum and hoping for the best. I was actually quite relieved when I heard I didn't get it-I was a tad extravagant in Truro today.

I hovered over the 1 click bid button, but I did not know how high it was going to go. The seller is
very friendly and I could comfortably say that the buyer will have no hassles. I was offered until
the end of June to complete the payment as well. As I sat in my early ELC Irvin, I decided I sold my
B-3 for a reason. And left it at that. I found some more BR Repros to bid on anyway!!
