There ya go Dean! 7 3/8

Thanks, chit-chat, and Dave. I can't figure out how I miss these listings! I only saw the MASH B-1 listed, and now this Eastman comes up out of nowhwere. And only a few hours to go! Can anyone explain this? I searched the entire ebay database and this one never came up as of yesterday. And yes, the MASH version looks much more substantial.

Well, mine never had the embroidered label. It had the paper tag like the A-3. I got mine in the mid - 90's from a dealer so it could have been an older repop but I like to think not for several reasons.
For my expected rant inclusion, I think it's common to "overmark" a repro. We love to find those marks on our originals to substantiate them as often they are worn away or never received a certain stamp. Seldom do I find an original anything with every variation of stamp in every location, etc. Next there will be stapled cutter tags showing up on repros.
The fact that the MASH site describes the B-1 and B-2 as the only two caps officially titled as "flight caps" might explain why they felt the B-1 also deserved that embroidered tag.
Maybe some had it and I'd love to see one.
Just saying,
Dave
