Nice jacket, colekwok. Classic seal and Beacon rust combo. Look forward to pics as you break it in. Thanks for posting Duxford pics.

Welcome to the forum Colekwok. Thanks for your photos. I was at the BoB Airshow and was so impressed with the 16 Spits flying together.

The "Luftwaffe" officer is at almost every Duxford and Biggin Hill A/S, parading up and down the flight-line. He must be very thick skinned judging by the comments people make!

I saw him at the Duxford end of season (Sally B) show in his Luftwaffe blues, parading about....my dad seemed a bit taken aback with him as to why he would do this.
I mentioned that it takes all sorts and if he only knew about us chaps with our A2 obessions, he would probably feel the same :D

Great pictures and lovely A2 :D Are you a photographer? Because some of those pictures look quite professsional.

I think some of those photos show hurricanes, though, and not spitfires  I love the one of the 4-blade spit though. It reminds me of the front-cover of a book I used to have on the making of the piece-of-cake series. I know it isn't a BoB spit, but it looks so smart (and peaceful) from the front. Peaceful is quite an ironic term as well, considering the noise that Merlin makes!

The Spitfire Angles for Attack; is that a spit or a Hurricane? I'm looking at it, and the shape of the wings (quite rounded) looks to me like a Hurricane from this angle.
Also, the one with the 4-planes in the background. They look like Hurris to me. Maybe my A/C recognition skills are too dusty?

Let me double check them...... since my screen is so small (my tiny notebook...... unfortunately), I didn't know what I've put on them, just hang on guys.

Update : You fellows DO have good eye sights!!! I must apologise for the incorrect labelling. And I am really sorry for the terrific Hurricanes, credits to them for the Battle of Britain, pity that the Spitfires stole the show (then and current days).
