Hello Forum
Another jacket, from a now non-existant country
A prewar (1935-1938) tankman jacket with brown leather from the USSR
Before the 1943 period, soviet army was called "RKKA" Or Workers' and Peasants' Red Army
After 1943 it was called only "Red Army" and the uniform was modified with new leather uniforms (such as we can see today)
Before those jackets where used by armored crewmans, such as Tanks/Trains/Armored cars
Or just frontline officers
Here is a example, with buttons, worn by an NCO
Here is mine, a brown variant without any insignia (comon) and armor troops buttons
Some modifications where made
And well worn
Thanks for looking
Louis.
