I agree Jeff. It's a nice two panel Wareings made just before four panels jacket became the norm. It is rare to see this 1941 contract with the label these days.

Something about our predecessors who fought in WW2 seem to be alot younger
and slimmer than we are today! Go figure (pardon the pun)
Probably alot less processed foods, or less foods in general!
Plus they smoked which seem to promote slimness or at least people
who quit seem to get larger!!
But these beautiful coats are beyond my measurements.

I do not agree with this theory. When the prices remain low, there are more persons who follow the object and the price burns at the end.

We have to remember that those airmen were mostly young people in their twenties, and during wartime they didn't have so many chances to indulge in food and lazy habits as we do today.
