Early ELC A2 being passed off as an original!

What an odd one!
For an A-2 in such an admirable state of wear with aged patches, 'service' number, older/aged zip, how much extra trouble to sew in an age-related label.
intended to deceive or simply a painted tribute jacket?

I don't believe the seller mean to pass it off as an original, he clearly states in his ad that it's:

EASTMAN A-2 JACKET FROM 80s

I agree Ian. The early ELC Talon zip is a dead giveaway. I did wonder initially if it was an original with an ELC label tacked in! The seller has now revised his listing. So in 25 years time how many GW A2s will be innocently passed off as originals?

I don't believe the seller mean to pass it off as an original, he clearly states in his ad that it's:

He would have done had it not been pointed out to him it was a repro as the BIN price was $3,500.
