Early ELC A-1 in a 38 Item 320855789996

Interesting looking ELC A-1 on EBay - with a three piece sleeve (rather than the usual two for this pattern).
Presumably an early version, before the pattern settled down - the pockets look larger than normal (rising above the neighbouring button) and the lining is very pale mustard. The listing mentions steerhide...

Just read it more carefully - this is the Pearl Harbour spec. (one of the senior pilots did wear an A-1 in the film).
