I didn't realise original 42"s were such a small size, seems more like a 38" or 40". Nevertheless seems like a nice jacket.

Terrible spelling though. I'd be wary on that premise alone, however I am overtly judgemental (But I wouldn't buy anything from someone who can't spell werable, sorry, wearable!

That's a bit tough ... since the seller is Italian, I'm just grateful that he chooses to list in English.

I was thinking it's a little smaller than some 42 Dubows, but in the lengths of the body, and sleeves it appears that the shorter measurements are a result of shrinkage to the knits. Dubows always have that narrow shoulder, yet somehow it works.

wonder if the listing was made in haste, or the ebay translator has its own gremlins. agreed, shrinkage. most, but not all wwll a-2s suffer this problem. my size 42 mid contract dubow, in goat measures 17.5" cross the shoulders. the reason dubows fit well, even though they have narrow shoulders, is that the back is cut wider, and the armpit hole is fashioned akin to raglan sweaters.

Having worked in the International Area of a big company I met several people, not english mother tongue, that could struggle through a conversation in english, with a decent level of comprehension and command of the English grammar but could not write in english at all; for us (i mean latin people and expecially Italians) the spelling is a tough part of the learning process, as you know we pronounce the words exactly as we write them (in fact we dont have a word for spelling in Italian...). Actually, I probably mispelled a few words myself in the above writing... :?
