Hi Joe, welcome to the board. Unfortunately, that's basically nothing to go on: the information from the label just tells you what government contract this was. The G-1 was (and is) a primarily Navy jacket (although you do see Marine and Coast Guard flyers using it), and military personnel wearing that exact contract served all over the world. Unless it has some sort of personalization (name, and/or ideally, serial number), there's nothing in the jacket to identify the soldier.

Without a personal name, or any other form of personalisation on or in the garment, I am afraid tracing an individual via an anonymous issued bit of kit will be nigh on impossible.

Edited as my phone believes it knows more about what I am trying to say than I do.
