Crown zipper

Does anyone know where I can get one of these Crown sliders? I think it is #10. It is a big zipper.

Hi,

I think this is a Coats & Clark, (CC). Crown was a subsidiary of Coats & Clark and there are some similar zips on ebay but the tab is different. You can have more luck by refining your search.

Thanks Dany. I'd really like to find a vintage puller that matches the one in the picture. MASH had one a couple of months ago but I didn't pull the trigger on it and now it appears to be gone.

Hey Clark,

It's the same size as a 1960s and later 7823 series G-1. Large I think #10 is the official sizing.

In fact IIRC you sent me that slider YEARS ago. I had it on the sheepskin US Authentic M 445 that I sold last year. Wishing now that I wold have remembered to swap it out before i sold it.

What jacket is it on ? A flight jacket ? I’ve never seen one of those on a FJ .

I put it on my US Authentic M 445 repro which originally had a large modern paper clip type slider and I really liked it.
