Could one of these be in the works?

Yes, plan on a GW version, one of John's newest projects. These things are really popular and go for top dollar.

Repro's have been available in Japan for many years from the usual suspects (Buzz Rickson's etc) but I can't say they are "really popular" - I guess originals have some collectable status but the Grizzly isn't a very 'wearable' jacket, and I'm a bit surprised to hear that John is planning to reproduce it.

Wow, in a svelte size 34 and in such nice shape, better keep that thing away from 442RCT......doubtful he'd be able to control himself....I think he could get 3-5 years hard time for photographing one of his victory girls participating in that kind of wooly jacket porn

Interesting that it has raglan sleeves. I don't recall seeing any other grizzlies with sleeves like that. Go, John, go! :)

This is the definition of mint. It is a complicated design and must be challenging to produce, but I am sure JC will work his usual magic.
Aero make something similar even with the horsehair still attached.
