Opened this up for my Wife to list all the cool stuff I find at yard sales and flea markets and keep separate from my patches. I'm listing all kinds of doodads including aviation stuff, so check it out over the next month or so. We're preparing to move again, yup again, so I'm cleaning out whatever i can to prepare. Nice and quiet here in Pahrump, but not a lot going on. Wife isn't happy here, being Thai, she won't be until working hard and making money. So after only 4 months I'm preparing for Las Vegas. Just an hour down the road with everything you could need. 10 million people in a valley.

You may see something you can't live without. New stuff added daily and doesn't show up right away so keep looking.

May 16th would have been a year up om Big Bear Mountain in California, but I was let out of the lease to pick up this place in Pahrump, Nevada on March 1st, same owners. Doesn't bother me much, I kind of like hopping around experiencing new places but my boy is already two and soon to need preschool, so this next move I'll have to grow some roots I think.

As an Ebay seller of a few years I thought I'd make a friendly observation. Don't be so negative about the returns policy, it makes potential buyers think you're going to be difficult, just have a 7-day or 14-day policy listed and leave it. I very rarely get returns anyway and it's better from a PR standpoint. Also, if the customer doesn't like it ebay will give them the benefit of the doubt and you will have to refund them whether you like it or not.

It's similar to when sellers say 'I won't be responsible for items lost or damaged in the post'. They can say it all they want but actually they are responsible because ebay/paypal say so.

Enjoy!

I hear ya, been doing this for over a decade myself and rarely have had any issues. This is because I'm very complete and up front about everything I sell. My attitude about return policy is focused directly to Ebay but also reminds the customer they are dealing with a very honest and straight guy that tries to eliminate any possible concerns before they happen. This approach has worked for years and is evident in my feedback at a2jacketpatches. I will leave my comments as they are there because there is simply no reasons for returns unless a simple change of mind. But on this one (a2jp) considering it is a very new account, I will take your advice and re-word. I just got tired of Ebay pushing the BS on me, I've had flawless feedback for over ten years. Once in a while an item disappears en-route and I have accommodated the customer without Ebay involvement immediately. I've also had circumstance where a case is filed without even an attempt to contact me first. In that case, the buyer gets a friendly offer for me to replace the lost item or refund entirely even though not my fault. Then I tell them to find their patches somewhere else and they will be blocked. Ebay can force their policies on me but I can also stand my ground as well. Feedback is public for a reason, and buyers need to consider it as part of the buying process. In other words, a buyer should say to himself, "there's a reason this guy has 2500 positive reviews without a single negative in a decade, I have nothing to worry about"

But again, I will adjust the wording a bit and take the negative vibes out while at the same time standing firm. Thanks for the input
