Caleco G-1 Sz 42

deeb7

Gone, but not forgotten.
WWII US Navy Flyers Jacket '47 -'51 "first series G-1

The dates are correct for a first series, that would be a 55J14, but Cagleco didn't make one. The Cagleco contract N383 28657A is from 1956 ... when does the seller think WW11 ended?

Seems to be a regular thing when listing G-1's...."WW2"! I know we British bang on about the Yanks arriving late in the war but I don't recall they went into extra time way into the '50's!

   Better get your tin hat on Paul. I think you'll have incoming 'friendly fire' any moment !! I thought we all knew that WW2 only ended for us Brits when we paid the final installment of our 'Lend'Lease' payments a few years ago. Of course, for the 'enemy' it ended as soon as they put their white flags up in '45.

Yeah, I'd better stick to the topic and not dig a deeper hole for myself! Maybe we can just give a simple lecture then....there were NO G-1's in WW2!! Which ran from 1939 (or 1941!) until 1945 only.....
And like a DFS Sale, the repayments went on and on and on........!
