Dropped the price and sold for US$495. eBay's cut - US$44.55!! Getting worse every time I sell something? And then they jack me using their exchange rate on the Paypal invoice. Used to be one exchange rate, now they are like banks with a Buy/Sell. I sold the jacket only out of 19 items. 18 were on eBay.com.au and not even visible on the international site? That has changed as well? Time to give the eBay game away me thinks...
Difficult to tell from the wording but it looks to me like the next period of free listing on eBay is indefinite ie. permanent. Smart move, if that's the case, with the cut-off being 50 items, which is ample for those not selling on there for a living. But the final value fee is now way too high on such relatively high-priced goods like flight jackets...plus you're probably paying out another, what, $20, on Paypal fees?
