Thanks for the heads up Couchy. This one was way down on the list for me but looks like a fun and practical jacket. Just read the item description on the HPA website, didn't know the silkscreen on the back was reflective. A lot of cool detail on this one, can't wait to get it. More importantly, can't wait for cooler weather. Hotter than a sombich here lately!

Well this is just great. Hit "but it now" and payed via paypal on the 16th. Yesterday got a message from the seller stating that payment is in escrow until the 6th of Aug and he will ship the jacket when funds have cleared or could cancel the sale if I wanted. Did some research and on the paypal site it states that certain accounts go into escrow for 21 days or until shipping verification or positive feedback is posted. I promptly returned his message and left a telephone message describing the situation according to paypal. Haven't heard back from him as of yet.

It happened to me and the seller refunded without asking first.

Paypal does this if there is no credit card linked, or if either the seller or the buyer has a fresh account. They do this for YOUR protection?? Do not fret. Seller would love prompt payment. If you can cancel the payment and send him Western Union do that. You can mark it as paid. eBay makes it hard so get a direct email address to co-ord it offline. Or just be patient...

I read the info about this on the Paypal site. I just got a response from the seller and were throwing around some options. I have his email and telephone number. It'll work out I'm sure. Just......need......that.....fixxxx...
