Buzz Rickson 37J1 size 40

People are always looking for these. Quite a high second hand price. But as the seller states sold out most places.

Not a heralded as the Real McCoy's 37J1B- A. ZIELINSKI CO. Cut from John Chapman's original, but still a very good jacket. I own one, and it's great to wear as a lighter weight cloth jacket.

I got $475 for my as new 42... There are 40s on Yahoo Japan from time to time..
Asking prices are usually from $300 - $400.

Here is a size 38 RM version for over $500 in Japan.

Sound investment. This one would normally go but I think jackets are hard to sell
these days. Only getting nibbles on my Buzz Rickson stuff. And a GW has barely
had any attention. One offer NEAR what I paid for it. One offer well under...

Part of that listing is a "copy and paste" of my listing from last year. The rest of his listing is a mess, perhaps pasted from various other sellers' listings? It's not the same jacket that I sold as he didn't win the auction - and there are minor differences such as the sewing of label and the replacement puller - though I see he sent a message to me through eBay asking "do you consider a buy it now for 250 plus shipping?"

Interesting that he was prepared to buy from HK but won't ship to there. Classy.

Just snaffled a BR 37J1 in a 44. This one might fit the 'guns' properly. Not bragging, I am like a T-Rex. These are twisty and tight in the upper arms? Excited...
