Another seller pulling the listing before auction end.

Do sellers realise that a listing is a legal obligation on their part?

Just had the case of the P-40 Warhawk here in Australia settled. Buyer sniped it for a great price. Seller had an existing offer well over the reserve price the Fighter went for. Buyer took the seller to court and won. Bargain P-40 and legal costs paid by the seller! Not sure if got much press abroad. I am not sure about you guys, but I see a jacket, factor in the 'want' quotient and the condition and then wait. Forgoing other items to eliminate the chance of simultaneous splurges.

Tightwads should pay for a reserve or wear the consequences??

Maybe they decided not to sell afterall. I know I'm guilty of pulling a listing due to a change of heart. In one case I thank goodness I did!

An offer they couldn't refuse or cold feet ?

Looks like cold feet, the highest proxy bid was GBP 109.00, but at the time the auction was ended, the bid showing would be at a little over GBP 50.00.

I think it will be relisted.
