I found this little beauty in value village for $20 , it’s not even close to my
Size I’m a 50 chest 36 waist this is tiny for me chest only 21”shoulder 17.5”
But I bought it for a project, I love these old motorcycle jackets and since
My 20s I’ve wanted one now I’m 52 but finding A size 50 is near impossible,
so i will be sending it to Shawn at 5 star after Christmas to be
Reproduced in my size so I can finally have one
I think I will even keep the color of the liner only in a better material then
Nylon
Bug the cat insists on being in photos

Great idea !
Don’t forget to show us a few photos once you you get it back from 5 Star. This could be an good alternative to finding the jacket that was never available in someone’s size.

I will definitely post photos, I’m trying to decide what leather I should use, a heavy goat
Or cow, I had a jacket made 25 years ago (it’s long gone) and the talor also long gone
Used the roughest scarred leather , it turned out amazing with a ton of character as it looked very road warrior
Post apocalyptic I am considering the same as the original I have here has lots of character

For this jacket my preference would be cowhide. Goat doesn’t age rapidly and if you want a well worn look cow would be the best option of the two .

I remember thinking fondly of a British Cycle Leathers jacket I'd handled in a shop too; and this was on a rack amongst Cals...

Look at some full grain buffalo hide. I have some floating around here that have the same type graining/character as your original.
