BR MA-1 on ebay: help needed

Hi there,

this is one I would like to add to my BR collection of nylon jackets:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Buzz-Rickson-s-MA-1 ... 2a0b2b1a51

Unfortunately, I live in the Netherlands rather than the USA, so I can't bid. I usually ask if there's a possibility to bid anyway, which quite often works well.
This seller cannot be contacted, tried so yesterday and today with no result.

As I do not want to rely solely on me trying to contact him every evening, i'd like to ask if there's a forum member who would be willing to represent me.

I can be found on ebay as prutser20020, with a 100% pos feedback, mostly from auctions in the US.
I also bought several jackets from forum members, with (that's my impression anyway) satisfactory results for the respective sellers, and certainly for me.
I use paypal (verified member).

Anyone, please?

thanks,
Rutger

Hi there Steve,

331 usd.

I have a feeling that won't win it, but I just bought a "new" car last week.

:D I'm now the happy owner of a BR MA-1 Lion Uniform thanks to forum member bseal (thanks Steve). It is in perfect condition, except for the decals having faded. I suppose dry cleaning is to blame for that. It was called appropriate/correct fading in the listing.

I now regularly wear:

L-2
L-2B
B-15C(mod) olive drab
B-15C(mod) blue
B-15D(mod) sage
MA-1 (greenish sage?green?)

I collected them in just over a year and a half, at an average price of about 300 USD, not including the cost of shipping, which averaged about 40 USD.
Since taxes amount to about 40%, I had some unpleasant added cost, but most people were kind enough to write down a more favourable price on the customs form. Yes, that's fraud. They even tax the cost of shipping itself, probably because it has added value to the jacket somehow.
I bought them from both forum members, and on ebay, and on ebay from people who later turned out to be forum members.
They came from Australia, the US, the UK and Germany.

Although I do own some other makes, I prefer Buzz Rickson as according to general opinion they appear to be the best in terms of quality and accurate reproduction of authenticity. Since I don't have any original of the above mentioned jackets, I can not confirm that, which makes me a sort of a snobbistic fool.

Up here in the Netherlands no one seems to be aware of the existence of BR, and I have never seen them for sale over here.
