One of the all time great films even though the story/screenplay is a complete mess. There actually is no complete story to the film. There were so many changes, it became a jumble but still completed with great results.

A legendary American name is good if you're selling esoteric American design to Japanese. (And if that jacket was made for any other market, I'll eat my flight helmet and save the goggles for dessert.)

That the jacket is made for the Japanese market is a pretty safe bet, the entire production of The Few is for the Japanese market.

However, the Hurricane jacket, along with many in the Precision collection, is named after a NZ rugby team.

Hurricanes, Highlanders, Chiefs, Crusaders ... all rugby teams, I guess that Masa is a fan.

The Hurricanes (formerly known as the Wellington Hurricanes) are a New Zealand Rugby Union team based in Wellington, New Zealand that competes in the Super 14 (formerly the Super 12).

Indeed you're right !

It's so sensuel and sexual, it's quite amazing for the period (and even now), does the censorship say something ?

I think, for exemple, that the scene with the pretty bookseller is quite amazing !

Agreed -- she gives new meaning to the word "Hellooooo" after she takes her glasses off and lets her hair down.

I found a corduroy Norfolk jacket, with just the same back panel design :

I'm starting a hunt for this kind of jacket, it's looks quite nice ! I let this one go for 23$ [huh]

Does some people here show me how fit me a similar jacket on them ?

Item number: 330330349582

The actions backs does not exist anymore, because in the 50's armholes were not tight anymore...the prupose was to fit easly a larger range of body...

Regards
