B3 CONTRACT

Courious about the B3 Contractor? My refurbished jacket is a copy issued by COCKPIT Could some one help to decode this label wondering who made

the original model who was copied?

17756 was a rough wear contract issued in February of 1941. Eastman offers a repro of it as well. Here are some pictures of originals that I've seen posted around:

Wow nice jacket! The colour is awesome love it .My reproduction has the 3 pieces panels in the back.Wish i could have an original like this one.

You and me both. The russet B-3 jackets weren’t made in the kind of numbers that the seal ones were, but when they’re found, they’re usually in much better condition, so they’re tough to find, but they are out there.

Yes you are right been told that is the way they were finished... better protection than the seal ones.
