Are these authentic service coats from WWII?

My neighbor was having a garage sale last weekend and text me that he had a couple old “hunting coats from the 40’s or 50’s and he thought I might be interested as I do a lot of hunting. As soon as I saw them I could tell they were at least based off a military coat. My dad has always been really into WWII and military history. My neighbor told me his father was a marksmanship instructor at boot camp and was sent to Europe during WWII. Those were all the details he had of his fathers service. He just remembered his dad using them as hunting coats. I have only attached pictures of the one that still has a tag, the other is similar, but there are a few differences. I can add pictures of that one as well if anyone is interested in seeing that one. The hood is lined with some type of wool and is backed with leather so I’m sure it is wool. I’m not sure what the insulation of this jacket is as it is all intact, but the other has some type of gray with multicolor flecks, dense insulation. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Excellent garage sale score. That's a good size!!

Look after that thing for me, gentle with the zippers, I'd love one of these!!

The tag looks legit military WWII era bomber jacket, someone else here hopefully has more info on these.

Thanks for posting.

Cool, however, there was a great thread on USMF regarding the provenance of B9 parkas. Where it was indicated by a knowledgeable and reputable collector/dealer that when on the label you see: "Types B-9" it is military, when it says "B-9 Type" it is civilian. What is your opinion folks regarding this statement?
