Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone here owns an original Cable Raincoat A-2? If so would appreciate your comments on the fit of the jacket. From JC's website's website description of the 27753 (believed to be made by Cable Raincoat) the fit of the jacket is rather generous with large armholes, roomy arms, roomy body, etc.
I'm just interested to compare it with my newly acquired ELC Cable Raincoat. Mine does seem to fit the description above, that's why I'm interested to see how accurate the repro is (it comes with a repro Talon zipper, however). It is roomy, but by no means it is baggy...
I had ELC's Cable Raincoat from a few years ago, but this one is very different.
For one, the goatskin's colour has no hint of redness whatsoever, unlike the previous version I had. The hide is a bit stiff at the beginning, but softens quite quickly with wear.
The pocket flaps appear to be quite close to what's shown in Goodwear website. Looks like ELC has done more homework before upgrading their Cable Raincoat line...
Anyway, would appreciate info/comments from anyone who has the original
Thanks
