Perhaps they had no idea there were different contractors so they used a spare RW label on the jacket, or simply thought it was a RW A2 as the seller does.

It is not unusual to see the wrong label on an A2. There are some examples on JC's flight jacket CD.

So, Andrew, what does that do to value?

Depends who is buying it. A newbie might pay well over the odds for what is a $500-600 jacket.

A2s without the correct label tend to sell for about a third less than one with one.
