Lots of chatter on TFL over this. Not my thing, price or hype-wise. But they do have some nice-looking jackets.
Also, they don;t do larger sizes - I forget the cutoff, but it's really a small, wealthy guy lineup...

David knows JC well and the Himmel Brothers jackets are very, very nice if civvy Cossack jackets are your bag.
Helpful guy too, I corresponded with him when trying to source decent cape.

Super Hero suppliers are seldom seen. Usually the realm of the butler or driver to get that stuff sorted. :D

I like their Huron design.
From discussions with folks who have contacted the company, I believe that the prices you see listed on your link are for jackets already made, and that if you want one "custom made" to your measurements, the price is higher.
(If you go to the "catalog" section and pick a design, you will see "Call" entered for the "suggested price" )

Due to natural selections, not many super heros are using capes now!

But anyway, they have been around for a while and it seems that they build some very gokd looking jackets.
I always thougt thier prices are listed as Canadian dollars, but seems like I was wrong. They are also selling some
nice leather belts as well.

Twice. :p
My real VAT is my wife. For every jacket or motorcycle, etc I get I must (by my own choosing) dole out a corresponding gift her way. It's only right, and has worked for 22 years :)

very nice but $$$$$
any one has their jacket?
I have one of the Heron button up horsehide jackets.I usually prefer vintage, but this is so nice I had to get one.Attention to detail is superb and the jacket receives admiration whenever I wear it.

Think target market..places where people are small, everything is expensive and authenticity is a near religious matter...get a rep there and you'll never need to bother with fat bargain hunting North Americans.

Recently I bought a LVC Menlo jacket in the same or very similar design for $550.[ NWT] Not saying it's bespoke tailoring or the very best horsehide but it's a very nice jacket for one that is ' mass produced' , though it is made in Italy and I understand the Italians know a bit about leather and tailoring.
Capeskin and horn buttons etc.
I can well understand that small companies with limited production runs do not have the economies of scale that Levis have. Having run a small design and manufacturing business it's not easy to compete so why try to ?

Blimey that was a good price John! I'd have been tempted had I not bought the A-1.

I love em, tho I'm not in a financial position to buy one. But c'mon, that d pocket is one of the best looking civie/ mc jackets on the market. No sour grapes here (but I think he could do better with a 30-40% price drop  )
