ANJ-3 ????????

deeb7

Gone, but not forgotten.
No collar snaps, old civilian jacket ... looks like it had a label that's been removed.

I love it, "I have been collecting A2 and G1 jackets for over 60 years and this is the first AN J 3 I have seen"

60+ years of collecting and never actually seen a real AN-J-3 in the flesh?

..... and can't tell what this is? Hmmmmm.

Did ANJ-3's have collar snaps?

And when will one turn up with the label present?! Very strange!

What interests me is the bi-weave knits, and that cool looking Talon zipper.

Thanks for that info. From what I recall, there is usually little visible evidence of a label on ANJ-3's as if they were removed soon after being applied or possible never even put on. This jacket clearly had a label for a good deal of its life, as the lining beneath where it was is of a very different colour to the rest of the lining.
