AN-6552 - my first FS

Hey folks
I just bought my first Five Star jacket today.
I interestingly watch their stuff since they appeared in this forum for the first time but could never bring myself to place an order with them, I can't even say why.
Well I saw that FS AN-6552 on ebay last week and thought "hey that piece looks superb" but the price kept me from pulling the trigger immediately. So today I received a message that the jackets price was reduced significantly and voila - there was no excuse anymore so I finally bought it. It's already sent so I expect it the next 2-3 days. I'm kinda excited because it looks so good and matches my size pretty good.
Oh and a funny side note: As I exchanged messages with the seller I ask him at the end if he is a member of vintageleatherjackets and he just answered ..NO!! - seems he's not a fan of our community

Looks pretty good! Do you have any idea how recently this one was made? I know Shawn acquired an original AN-6552 recently, but not sure if this a repro of it.

No clue about the age. The seller said it's new and unworn (just tried it on) but not why, I could only imagine the fit wasn't right. When I think about the evolution and progress in the Fivestar m422, M6552, G1 etc. when it comes to details and accuracy I would say that this jacket isn't that old.

I'm inclined to agree - the rack-o-ribs knits suggest to me it must have been made in the last year.

No matter when it was made, it looks good and accurate enough for me to finally jump on the FS train too. Like someone said in another recent thread, there's always one thing that's wrong with a five star jacket. But with this one I cannot find a contra except for the FS branded spec label and I really love the character and color of this goatskin, so I couldn't resist.
