How does the Aero compare to an Eastman?

I prefer ELC to Aero however this was a steal, I thought about it for a moment ............. but passed it by

I jumped on it, the measurements were really close to what I need and the price was right. I still plan to get an Eastman but this one looks good for now,

Hi;

I don't want to put a dampner on anyones parade but this jacket has an Aero Flight Manufacturers label. I believe that this was an older Aero entry level jacket that was made from leather and not horsehide. Its still a great deal for the price.

Usually with that label they're the Indian goatskin, so at least if you don't like it, you can return it as not as described.

Also if it's tagged 46, the chest measurement is not going to be 23" ... one of my pet hates.

i'd say this one is steerhide, it will definitely not be horse though.

The jacket came in today, good looking jacket and fits well. Definately not goat and from what little I've found on the Aero Flight Label its probably steer although it shows some characteristics of horse.
