Aero selling repro Conmars and triple-mark Talons

Aero is selling some reproduction Conmar and Talon zippers on eBay where they say:

A word of warning to be fair to potential buyers we have found that these are not heavy enough for the heaviest horsehide jackets unless they are used carefully.

I don't like 'em, especially the Conmars. They have that blackening like you see on most 'Mall jackets'. The Talon in that pic doesn't look so bad, but I stilll don't think they look like wartime zips. I had one on an Aero A-2 once, and no amount of distressing would make it any better either. I once Emailed Amanda to point out my concerns, in a spirit of constructive criticism, but I never got a reply.

+1 Especially interested in the Talon. Aero acknowedges problems with wear... hmm...

Tempting, though. very cheap, and from a "reliable" source.
