An outstanding piece, already sold for 13000$... from the description: "14th AAF A-2 Jacket. All original, and identified to 1st Lt. Everett Clark of the 373rd Bmb. Sqd. Clark was shot down and forced to bail out of his B-24 in January 1945. He served as a Navigator...The interior blood chit is sewn in as a pocket" - [very interesting feature to see blood chit sewn as a pocket]. Fantastic jacket!

Could use a little bit of conditioner though! Looks a little dry
... I would leave it personally.

The Wear on the Jacket tells a story.

Grubby looking Jackets are the best.

Check out the liner in the hat all greased up with some kind of brylcreem too. Jacket is just perfect how it's ratty and worn to perfection. Everything about that Jacket is perfect.

Can any of the manufacturer detectives identify the maker of this one?

I know the story of the "spec tag," but I wonder who really made this one.
