A2 jacket dating help

Hi folks, I have recently acquired an A2 style leather jacket and wondering about the age of the jacket. Does anyone have any ideas about it?

The jacket looks very similar to a 1980s LL BEAN jacket made for commercial sales . This is definitely not a military issued A2, however it looks like an early version of the jacket pictured below without the mouton fur collar and sheepskin lining . It has the same leather pull tabs on the wrist knits . Also your waist knits have been replaced as you can see by the white stitches in your photo.

Looks like a LL Bean from around

1980. That type of Talon zipper was used from the '50's right up until Talon closed for good around 1990.
