As good a photo as I have seen of the "grime and punishment" that Jungle Cloth could take and come up smiling. Too bad the stuff is as precious as the finest silks nowadays.

Photographer confirms this is an Aero Leather contract No. 60732 (or NOs-60732). No previous reports of this altho Buzz Rickson modeled their last 37J1 repop on it (right down to a Beacon, NY label).
BuAer issued spec 37J1B (new type collar) late in 1936, but Aero Leather wasn't in business till mid '37. So perhaps the contract was let to their predecessor, Aero Clothing & Tanning of Brooklyn.
