Someone could get the wrong idea about her, the way she's drinking that pop. ;)

Great photos! A bit of ettiquette though for all the guys who are nice enough to share all these wonderful photos with us... how about three or four photos to a post? Makes it a lot easier to find the photo you may want to include in a reply.

Thanks,

~Swing

Mr. Oose,
With regard to the B-17/B-24's, in "storage", did Life Magazine give the location? The movie "Best Years of Our Lives", has a scene that depicted several different types of aircraft waiting to be "reclaimed". Does anyone know the location of that "boneyard" in the movie? I had many of the WW-2 Life Magazine's and lost them in one of those "100 year" floods back in the States. Thanks for the pics.........

The Internet Movie Database (IMDB.com) states that the filming location for this was Ontario Army Airport, in California (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0036868/faq) But I haven't confirmed this. A large 'airplane graveyard' also existed after the war in Kingman, AZ.

My dear friend Walter F. Hughes flew 5 missions in B-24-J "Solid Comfort"
93rd BG, 330th BS Hardwick England.
Walter is 87 now and lives in Hawaii.

Way to go Stu. Great selection of photos and some lovely women. How come they look "hotter" than modern photos ?
