ISTR Jimmy Stewart striking a similar pose - whether in an A-2 or not I can't recall. (He wore a Rough Wear 1401.)

Yet another shot that puts paid to the myth of a universal "Wartime Fit." In fact I'm beginning to wonder where it came from. Probably from several thousand vets outgrowing their jackets in peacetime.

Very nice pics,and these pics are demolishing the fashion way of wearing an A2 today, I allways read "close to body fit" and the pics are prooving it's a "NO GO"

Everything, not just A-2s, must fit tight@ss today to be fashionable. It shows you're skinny.

I prefer the look of the first guy as I prefer a more fitted jacket. Images like this one are great cos they show differences in how they can fit.
