A&F Jackets

While waiting on my wife this afternoon something caught my eye over in the men's section. I don't have a repro or original to compare against but these looked decent. The O2 flap does not pass through, and I tried one on, the look seems off in the shoulder, more rounded, not as boxy as an MA-1 or CWU jacket. Interesting though. 100% polyester.

Low end mall jacket repro's which are probably overpriced as well I bet.
I don't know what they are priced at, but I'm wiling to bet for a few dollars more you could pick up a used original.

lots of retailers are doing the flight jacket thing this year. Gap, Buckle, Aerospatial (sp?) lots of nylon

Just about every high street clothing chain have similar for both guys and girls inc toddlers! Have to say though that they look pretty decent for that price, as a daily wearer and if you're not bothered by accuracy to the real thing!!

at least they didn't use a YKK zipper! :p I'm not familiar with that particular bell shape though. modern design I'm assuming. and the bottom one on the pocket looks more like a Crown even though it says Talon

they look ok to me, just wish this bomber jacket fad would fade away so I can get back to wearing my 1961 Skyline without looking like the rest of the herd.

Can't agree more Marv, I've got a 60's Skyline too that's nicely original patched (x2) and have had it commented on by someone in the street who clearly didn't know it for what it is.
Not that that bothers me but at the moment would think twice about wearing it, mind you its too warm, both the weather and the jacket! Got my nice new BR B10 to look forward to wearing once it does get colder too!!

I agree also, have an ELC B10 waiting to come out of the wardrobe when / if the weather ever changes for the colder.

I just bought one of these at 30% off. Surprisingly decent jacket. Not really too fussed about these MA-1 style jackets, so for the money I paid I'm pretty pleased.

Just wondering if anyone on the forum popped for one of these. It would be interesting to have a review done just to see how they match up to a standard repro jacket.
