A-2s in Korean War

Found these at USAF on-line image museum. Didn't realize how common the A-2s were in that period.

I think the 4th photo down is actually a WW-2 era photo and possibly on eof the "Doolittle Raiders" he's wearing the 37th Bomb Sqd which was one of the units in the raid, the photo of the lady in the nylon jacket is a Air Evacuation unit , I think the 801st Squadron. The jacket in the first photo I just recently did both patches for a persons A-2 .

Looks like the harnesses protected the body of the jacket while the sleeves show lots of abrasions from cramped cockpit. ;)
