1940's vintage jacket?

I have my doubts...
This "Real Jeans" brand (I assume Japanese) Horse-Hide jacket just sold on e-bay for $250
and it was described as a 1940's vintage piece... but look at the tag? Since 1956 it states??
and its a modern looking tag...(Engrish...weird text)
Did I miss anything good? 11 bidders but stalled at $250...
Other than the funky tag its a smart looking jacket!
but its a modern Japanese made piece I think...Note Talon zipper used!

Yes, 1940's vintage style ... recently made. Looks okay, for the money.
