Isn't this the seller that pulls his auctions if the bidding isn't to his liking? I seem to recall him doing that on this jacket at least one time before.

And...Barbour wax on the collar ? Isn't that just for cloth?

I remember this guy now. The moleskin on the collar rings a bell.
About a year ago I contacted him about one of his eBay sales...it may have actually been this jacket.
He was a bit...different... to deal with.
I suggest if interested in this auction to proceed with caution.
And...somebody please ask him why the Barbour wax? I don't think he'll reply to an inquiry from me.

Actually...he did reply to my question.
The Barbour wax is not on the leather...it's on the cotton drill lining "dappered around the frequently rubbed areas to lengthen the life".

We used to sell Barbour wax when I worked at a camping/outdoors shop up north. Wax coated cotton degrades really easily, it certainly doesn't last longer. The wax is a waterproofer, not a preservative so I'd avoid this.

The upside down photos are in case you want to take a look at it from a different viewpoint......
It will be interesting to see if he pulls the auction again.

Looks like he finally sold it. Assuming it wasn't a shill buyer.
I offered him more than what it just sold for when he listed it on eBay last year. This was before he decided to "treat it" with Barbour wax.
He made a counter offer that was even HIGHER than the BIN price he had listed at that time !!

Karma.
