Agree, but MASH has only 30cm Crowns left.

I think they use the same repro Crown zippers as Buzz Rickson, right? The slider almost always fails in my experience too.

Yes I would think so.
For me the slider lost its puller and spring on my Buzz A-2. I managed to replace it with an original slider.

MASH are probably the only "shop" stocking them, if they still have stock.
Brice's suggestion about getting in touch with JC is excellent. John usually doesn't have a problem selling bits and bobs to enthusiasts like us if he has stock or if it's like something like a label.

Well, hallelujah. I think I can do an end run on all this. Silver Surfer has been filling me in on the use of Talon zips by Bronco. Then, in checking out the 2 Broncos on JC’s site, I see one has a Crown M-41 and sure enough, the other has a Talon M-42. I’ve got an NOS M-42.
For once, I’ve managed to make it back out of the rabbit hole. Life is good.

As a little side note… the WWII Crowns are reliable and not really prone to failure.
The MASH Crowns are not the same as the ones used by ELC….they are also reliable.
Buzz if Made in China if fitted with Crowns ( L-2A and B-15C) are a bit tricky… but easy to repair with a bit of knowledge…. A bit of a slider issue..
