Thats really a interesting mystery point that we have to find it out, even Real Mccoy will made a somilar reproduction so that have to be some reasons, i guess we ill just sit and wait for more professional answer, thats the purpose of this forum for discuss! We all talk about how to or how not to store our jackets but that does look like it’s been screwed up in a box by the creases! I’m sure someone here can suggest how to improve/restore it but at some cost I’d guess which might prove prohibitive for the result achieved? Good find (despite the lining!) and good luck if you do attempt to bring some life back into it.
