Kim Jong Un - Leather Jacket Spoting

Ok so I think Kim Jong Un (the famous God like leader of North Korea) has a bit of a leather jacket collection. The point of this thread is to show them off. So each time I come across one I am going to put it into this thread. I thought it would be good to guess the size, type of leather and...

    Good value for money A-1?

Interesting. I mean cape skin is a pretty thin leather anyway so I guess it depends what your initial expectations are. I think the best option is for me to get several samples sent over (including the lamb skin). I can do a bit of a post on it all for everyone then. Just out of interest did...

    Good value for money A-1?

Yea I have read his post. It’s the same colour way I was going to go for. He has his in steer hide but for me I am more keen on the lighter cape skin.

    Good value for money A-1?

So I am thinking of pulling the trigger on a Five Start A-1 with the below specifications. My logic is it should just make a good everyday jacket for summer alongside the ECL. Seal Brown capeskin Small original-style pockets Horn buttons Seal brown knits Seal brown thread Brown cotton lining...

    Good value for money A-1?

Funny you say that, I have an Eastman A-2 that got some stain on it. By just wearing the jacket they sort of just fade out over time with use. The jacket look a lot better over time, especially if you do basic care of it.

    Good value for money A-1?

Have any of you any ideas on a good value for money A-1 manufacturer? I have an A-1 from ECL but it’s just too expensive to have as an everyday jacket. I saw this one on eBay for under £100 and just wanted to see what your thoughts and experiences is with a decent everyday A-1 and who makes an...

A2 fit question (yes another one )

Well done man. I find an extremely expensive leather jacket collection is a great way to keep you trim.

A2 fit question (yes another one )

This is the other Eastman contract I have. Not sure off the top of my head what it is, you can see it’s a lot trimmer yet the same size.

A2 fit question (yes another one )

Cheers to the members who’ve noted similar experiences with A2 jackets. It seems the consensus is that WW2 A2 flight jackets were indeed crafted to be a touch roomy, offering ample freedom for movement and the option to don additional layers beneath. The upper torso is typically afforded a bit...

What jacket(s) are you wearing at the moment?

It’s an ELC one I got a few years ago. It’s a more roomy contract than the other one I have.
