What a fantastic collection!
Call me sentimental but I just dont understand how people can let this sort of stuff go. No amount of money could buy a collection like this if it was from my family history!

I had a chance to buy that collection but passed on it. Thought it was over priced.
The seller said that he had another buyer for it but it looks like he must of passed on it also.
What would you guys say this collection is worth?

Nice condition prewar jackets. The group is worth a good chunk of change. However, being that the veteran didn't fly actual combat will probably lessen the value to some.

that's the kind of stuff I used to get from the vets themselves or their families. I just hope whoever gets that collection takes care of it and displays it in an appropriate way. Better yet, that should go into some kind of museum. Something like that shouldn't be parted out for the bucks.
