Who was the contractor for the A.C Order No. 1756 A2?

At the local AFB museum there is a display containing 6 original A2's , all with patches and blood chits. One that i could good a fairly good look at the spec tag did not have a contractor name but did have written on it, in addition to the "TYPE A2" and drawing no., was " A.C. ORDER NO. 1756." The jacket is in a good but well worn condition.
