It's a very nice jacket, original, but yes the lenght is too short on you.
It's the problem with original model: you are not a war pilot post WW2 and you don't fly with this jacket, so the fit isn't for modern life il you have a big size.

a replica would be much more comfortable to wear!

hello! i love the cropped length of this and think it would look particularly fantastic with the right ensemble. high-waist denims and a henley top, maybe accessorised with a scarf or neckerchief. that sort of thing. anyway, congratulations on a fabulous jacket.

Yes I think it is also a little short - will ride right up your back when you sit down and lean forward. The rest looks like a good fit to me

Sadly I don't know too much about it apart from being Horsehide. Mulceber mentioned how it looks like could be made by Monarch.
I picked it up at Butterworths Vintage Company. They're based in a small town called Totnes which is in Devon, England

Fit looks good.
Torso shortened at some stage.
IMHO.. my 0.1ct input.
