Weaknesses in Real Deal HH?

Anyone had any problems with flaky top coat or undue weaknesses in Aero Real Deal horsehide? I've wanted one for years but never had the nerve to hold my breath and go for it. A £50 saving is another reason. I love the idea and I know a number of you guys praise them highly but I wondered if anyone had been unhappy with the quality of the hide. I know they're rough and grainy but any negatives? Any peeling, tearing or weakness? I want a jacket thet will last.

Mine is fine and dandy.

No peeling, tearing or weakness, just a little wear of the finish around the edges & seams due to wear.Very solid jacket, one of the best fitting Aero A-2's.
